Why CHRIST LUTHERAN ACADEMY?

We live in a world in which the education of children is increasingly thought of as the responsibility and prerogative of the professional educator. This attitude is carrying over into other areas of child rearing. Parents are less and less considered the primary care givers for their children, as the world continues to promote the necessity of professional care givers for every area of a child’s life. Obviously there is a need for professional teachers, counselors, doctors, etc. But we as Christians believe that these professionals operate under the authority and by the permission of parents. God gave children to their fathers and mothers, who are free to enlist the aid of teachers and doctors in the raising of children, but the primary responsibility for these children belongs to the parents. The goal of CHRIST LUTHERAN ACADEMY is to support and assist Christian parents in this God-given responsibility. In addition to offering a high quality elementary education using a classical-education approach, we are committed to the Christian faith as taught in the Word of God and confessed in the historic Confessions of the Lutheran Church.
